12 Indian Celebrities Having Their Wax Statue at Madame Tussaud Museum

Madame Tussauds has honored famous people from around the world by making and installing their wax statues at the museum, and among them are various Indian celebrities also. Here you will see top Indian personalities having their statue at Madame Tussauds.

1. Narendra Modi


On 20th April 2016, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has joined famous global leaders at Madame Tussaud.  His wax statue is established in his signature style cream Kurta with a jacket and posing in traditional “Namaste “gesture.

2. Mahatma Gandhi


One of the most famous people known as the Father of Nation – Mahatma Gandhi, was the first Indian whose wax statue was established in Madame Tussaud Museum.

3. Indira Gandhi


The nation’s first and final lady Prime Minister was also among the famous Indians having a wax-statue at the Madame Tussauds.

4. Sachin Tendulkar


The one and only Indian sport player having presence at the museum is the Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar, whose wax statue was uncovered on his 36th birthday in April 2009.. Brian Lara and Shane Warne are the other great players who have their wax statues installed at museum.

5. Amitabh Bachchan


The greatest Bollywood superstar, and the 1st alive Asian having statue at the Madame Tussauds in London. It has been noticed that approx 25 lakh tourists visit Amitabh Bachchan’s statue every year.

6. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan


The former Miss Universe and actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was the 2nd Indian Bollywood superstar to get honored at the museum. Her statue was revealed in 2004 at the London museum. Her wax statue was additionally shown at the Madame Tussauds exhibition hall at the Times Square in New York.

7. Kareena Kapoor Khan


Kareena Kapoor Khan is the 2nd Bollywood start after Aishwarya Rai whose wax statue was uncovered at the museum in London.

8. Salman Khan


Salman Khan’s wax-statue, which is wearing a dark vest, was introduced in 2008 after he was selected by USA’s People Magazine as the seventh most perfect looking man on the planet. In 2012, his statue was taken to the NewYork branch of the museum.

In 2007, the Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s statue was uncovered at Madame Tussauds, and becoming the 3rd Bollywood star, after Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to have a wax-statue in the museum.

Famous for his great looks and dancing style, Hrithik Roshan’s wax statue was established in 2011 and listed into ten most kissed statues at the Madam Tussaud Museum. Hrithik is the most youthful Indian male on-screen character to have his wax statue.

12. Katrina Kaif


The most recent actress to join the list of Bollywood superstars at the Madame Tussauds is Katrina Kaif, whose statue was made and installed in March 2015.
